Toy Story 3

The long awaited sequel to Toy Story as finally arose.  The comical and teasing movie is an epic.

Growing up with Toy Story, from the start you loved Woody and Buzz Lightyear. Who couldn't? From Little Bo Peep to Slinky Dog, you immediately fall in love with the characters which make up a brilliant movie.  When the time comes for Andy to go off to college the decision with what to do with his old toys are up in the air.  Putting it off and putting if off the movie starts off with the toys being 'accidentally' sent to daycare. The daycare (gawd forbid) contains dirty, smelly children who, in our eyes, abuse the toys.  The other toys that live there seem very nice and friendly at first.  But Andy's toys come to find out, that they are not.  Parts of the daycare scenes, I really didn't care for.  Some of them were too long drawn out and others were just kind of useless.

Near the end of the movie, the toys end up in a dump.  With the very last thread of hope to save them from the firey furneance gone, who will save them? Will they live? Or is the last place they will be together forever?..Watch it and find out! :)

Disney Pixar did an A.Mazing job once again making this movie.  I saw it the very first night it came out and I was very well pleased with it.  They incorporated a lot of elements from the first and second movie.  I know if I were to watch it again, I could probably find more that I missed.  By the way, if you go and watch it sometime make sure you watch the credits. They show some funny bloopers and at the very end they show a scene that's hysterically funny! :)

The Three Munchkins (:

Tonight is the last night of Mom and Dad's Dynamic Marriage class and the last tuesday night I'll have to watch the girls.  I already had plans for tonight but when I stop and think about how much I actually spend time with the girls, it doesn't bother me as much to dismiss those plans.  I'm thinking about taking the girls out to the park and then to see Noah and Aves but I don't know if Mom and Dad will let me.  If they don't, I'll just take them down to the lake and we'll have a picnic. :)  I think I'll try to see if they'll let me take pictures too!

Brittany (:

Last night I convinced Brittany to let me take pictures of her! She's so easy to work with. I love her genuine smile. The thing is though, I can't even tell she's my sister half the time.

What Happened to When We Were Kids..

when we spent the afternoon making creations out of play dough..

lollipops being our favorite candy?..

the only high was when we were swinging on the swing..

When we'd fight with our best friend and then the next we were friends again..
Cooties were the only things you'd get from the opposite sex..
Not noticing that your best friend wore glasses and not being judge mental..

What happened?..

Shift Happens

These are the questions to the video we watched.

1. The fact that 34 babies are born every 8 seconds..That is insane..
2. Yes I think we do.
3. As a student, I don't think I am.  I don't think Pike Central prepares us enough to enter college. There isn't enough variety of classes to choose from and so many teachers slack off at teaching us.  A lot of teachers also don't incorporate technology and other things that we are going to experience in college.
4.I think they need to incorporate more technology and different learning and teaching techniques.  They just teach the same way they have for the past 40 years..
5. I think they should use more laptops and different websites to teach us things.  In some of the health classes they could use Youtube to show videos of real life things to put things in perspective for that student.  Because sometimes its hard for me to understand what that teacher is really talking about until I see in real life what they mean.
6. Some of the teachers are weary about giving up the way that they have taught for some many years and don't want to learn something new so they can teach better. (they're lazy..)  The advantages would be students would be more prepared for college and even if they didn't go to college but straight to a job, they would be more prepared and confident about what they were doing.
